I grew up next door to an elderly paleontologist who kept stacks of old National Geographic magazines in his basement. He’d show me dinosaur bones and let me flip through those pages full of faraway places and remarkable people. I dreamed of having adventures like that someday.

After college, I talked my way into a job in the equipment room at National Geographic. There, I learned the ins and outs of cameras and discovered a passion for filmmaking. Today, I’m an NYC-based cinematographer and director, with a background in documentary storytelling.

My work spans commercial and branded content, with past clients including Samsung, Adidas, National Geographic, New Balance, Netflix, Chevy, and Facebook. I’m also an FAA Part 107–licensed drone pilot and a member of ICG Local 600. My film The Unconditional was nominated for a Critics Choice Documentary Award in 2019.
